Accenture WGC Match Play – What’s In The Pros’ Bags?

As the Accenture World Golf Championship (not really a championship of the world but whatever…) Match Play event comes to a close this week, found an interesting article online showing what equipment the pros are using. All photos ripped from

Francesco Molinari, like Tiger and Rory, sports Nike VR Pro Blade irons and VRS Woods… wonder if it’s the new Covert Driver

Who knows if all these different clubs and brand really do help or if it’s just marketing? Rory seems to think they’re all the same and said when he switched to Nike, “I think all the manufacturers make great equipment nowadays and it’s all very similar — a lot of them get their clubs made at the same factories.” But seeing as how he didn’t make the cut in Abu Dhabi and failed to make it past the first round in Match Play, I bet he now wishes he had his trusty Titleist equipment back! – WH
