As many know, Mickelson won the 2006 Masters with a pair of Callaway Fusion FT-3 drivers. According to PGA.com, Furyk elected to leave his approach wedge home and teed off with a pair of Callaway RAZR Fit Xtreme drivers, one with 9.5 degrees of loft and the other with 10.5 degrees of loft.
As expected, Furyk is finding the 9.5-degree driver to be longer and the 10.5-degree model a little more accurate. It must be working as Furyk is currently tied 5th sitting 5-under par after two round.
Let’s see how he closes out the tourney and what he has planned up his sleeve for next week at Augusta.
