Red Bull always has the best marketing ideas. I can personally attest to this having had the privilege of working with them in Manila over the past year.
Back in 2011, PGA tour Rookie of the Year and Red Bull athlete, Rickie Fowler, hit a hole-in-one from an elevated tee box to a man-made green in the middle of Washington Harbor at the Georgetown Waterfront. The man-made 106-yard downhill hole was surrounded by spectators and buildings and had a narrow fairway leading to a fountain hole with the Potomac River as a backdrop. What makes the hole-in-one ever more ridiculous is that Fowler couldn’t see the pin and was shooting at the hole blind!
This is so cool!!! Hope Red Bull does more golf stuff like this to match what Oakley is doing with Bubba Watson.
