According to Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC), Rhein Gibson, a 26-year-old professional golfer from Lismore, New South Wales set a new world record for the lowest golf score in a round.

Gibson is aspiring to join the PGA Tour. When you google his name, only thing that comes up is his 55 round so don’t think he’s done too well since.
Ryo Ishikawa holds the world record for the lowest score in a professional tournament when in 2010 he carded a 12-under-par 58 at The Crowns Tournament on the Japan Golf Tour.
