Case Study: Izod’s Golf Transformation

Izod has been looking for a way to seriously re-enter the golf world, and they have found it in their new campaign centered around the “Team Izod” concept. In 2013, Izod has transformed their marketing and tactics to include full sponsorship of three pro golfers, a redesigned Twitter page, a revamped Facebook and a modernized social media agenda. Golf is coming back to Izod, and Izod is coming back to golf, both in a very big way.

Although the Twitter page boasts less-than average followers, it has increased engagement and relevance 10 times over. Frequency more than doubled, from the old one or two posts a day at best, to the new several content sharing, giveaway offer, voting-style tweets every day. It has been a complete transformation. Specifically focusing on Twitter, they are a new beast all together.
