Not sure if anyone reads these posts but whatever… Players’ Outfits is becoming a mainstay on Mulligang.com. Checkout our favorite and least favorite outfits from this past weekend’s Wells Fargo Championship. All photos taken from http://www.pgatour.com.
Pros always come out in their best outfits on the first day. Checkout Bubba here. Nice simple outfit picking a plain navy blue Oakley polo that allows his plaid pants to standout.
Not a bad round 1 outfit for Fowler. Nice color… goes well with the tan. haha
Lucas Glover has been a silent killer when it comes to style. Great color combination, canvas belt again and sick cardigan.
Not my favorite for Phil. Not really digging the turquoise polo. Would’ve gone with a white belt instead.
Simple, clean outfit for McIlroy. Exactly what you’d expect from Nike’s poster child.
Ryo Ishikawa. This guy’s clothes are always fitted. Try to ignore the “Oh” face and take notice of the subtle unzip of of the bottom of his jacket like leaving the bottom button of your suit jacket unhooked. That’s straight up swag!
Sergio Garcia looking just “meh” going grey on grey on grey on grey. The red shirt popping out is a good touch but would have liked something to break up the top and bottom.
Angel Cabrera showing us all how heavyset men should dress. The black on black and vertical outlines is making him look slim!
Much better look for Mickelson in round 2 topped off by a subtle but money belt. I actually like Fowler’s outfit here. Nice bold top but not douched up but pairing it a pair of neon yellow pants. Think he’s growing up!
Russell Henley looking like he stepped off the set of Legend of Bagger Vance. Nice outfit… only thing I would do is tailor the entire outfit down one size. Can’t tell what kind of hat he’s wearing. Looks like a short brimmed visor. Would’ve made the outfit if he tossed on one of the old school floppy newsboy hats.
Come’on Scott Gardiner, looking a bit sloppy, no?
Lee Westwood looking fit and in control. Too bad he can’t figure out how to win.
Dear David Lynn, I know you finished in second, but get some pants that don’t make you look like you’re playing in a pair of wind pants you got on sale for US$9 at the Sports Authority.
