The final Major Championship of 2013 kicks off this week at the Oakhill Country Club in Rochester, NY.

Mulligang’s 2 for 3 for Major Championships picks (US Open and Bristish Open) and 3-for-3 in our last three picks! Here’s to keeping the streak alive!!!

Tiger Woods

Yeah… after the schoolin’ he put on the field last weekend at the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational, I’d be shocked if he didn’t win. The Tiger of old is back and healthy. He’s won five times this year already and in a good state mentally. Having should’ve won at Augusta and potentially at the Open Championship, calling it here that the world’s #1 golfer will win his 15th Major this weekend.

Henrik Stenson

Stenson has finished 3rd or better in his last three worldwide starts including a 2nd place finish at the Open Championship. He ranks 2nd in greens in regulation, 7th in scoring average, 6th in driving accuracy, 2nd in ball striking, and 15th in top 10 finishes on Tour according to CBSSports Online. If he can get his putting in place, he’ll take this tournament.

Brandt Snedeker

Brandt Snedeker is my new Justin Rose. Keep picking him but he keeps letting me down. He’s poised to win though if he can just keep it together. Has finished in the top-20 in last 4-of-5 starts including a win at the RBC Canada Open. Ranks 9th in scoring average, 8th in putts per hole, 2nd in Greens in Regulation and 2nd in top ten finishes this year. Come’on Sned’… bring it home brotha!

Wild Card: Billy Horschel

Zurich Classic of New Orleans - Final Round

When it comes down to it, the kid makes birdies. Mickelson and Woods rank 1 and 2 in birdies made per round… Horschel ranks third in that category and first in total birdies made this season. In addition, he’s 21st in scoring average, 13th in putting per hole and ball striking, 4th in top-10 finishes, and 28th in greens in regulation. If he can keep his drives straight and out of the thick Oakhill rough (only 55th in driving accuracy), this kid and pull out a win. Now lets just hope he doesn’t wear those hideous octopus pants!

It’s gonna be a great weekend!

  2. I’ve been browsing on-line greater than 3
hours lately, yet I by no means found any attention-grabbing article like yours.
It is lovely worth enough for me. Personally, if all webmasters and bloggers made excellent content material as you did, the internet will be a
lot more useful than ever before.
